The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. The Rothesay Town Hall will close at 12pm on Thursday, September 30th in recognition. Rothesay staff will be taking this opportunity to learn more about the tragic history of residential schools and their devastating impact on generations of Indigenous families and communities, and we encourage residents to do so as well. Rothesay hours and service schedules for Thursday, September 30 will be as follows:
